Petrochemical and chemical plants run on drives as much as on conveyors. We supply timing belts (BRECO/MULCO PU, ConveyPro GT/HTD and CONTITECH rubber) with matching timing pulleys, V-belts and Poly-V belts for fans, pumps and compressors, Novo Felt belts and polyester mesh belts, and, for material handling, DERCO PVC belts, ConveyPro PVK solid-woven belts, rubber conveyor belts, bucket-elevator belts, filter and belt-press fabrics, and the idlers and cleaners that keep a bulk conveyor running.
Chemical resistance is specific, not general. A belt that handles dilute acids can still swell in an aromatic solvent, so we ask what the belt will touch, at what concentration and temperature, before recommending a cover. Static and fire behaviour matter just as much, but the belt is only one part of the answer: if a conveyor sits in a classified hazardous area, tell us the zone and your plant's rules first, and we will check the options against them and say plainly if a standard belt is not the right answer.

Details & enquiry →It depends on the exact chemical, its concentration, the temperature and how long the contact lasts, so "chemical-resistant" on its own tells you little. Send us the chemicals (including cleaning agents and lubricants), the temperatures, and whether contact is occasional or continuous, and we will recommend a cover and check it before we quote.
We supply anti-static and fire-retardant belt grades. Whether a belt is acceptable in a classified hazardous area is set by your plant's zone classification and safety rules, not by the belt alone. Share them with us and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot supply for that duty.
For flat and inclined transfer, a smooth-top or sidewall belt in PVC or PU keeps granules in place; for vertical lifts, a bucket-elevator belt with bolt-on buckets. Tell us the granule size, the temperature coming off the line and the incline, and we will choose between them.
Yes. We supply timing belts together with timing pulleys matched to them, in aluminium or steel with standard or custom bores. Send us the belt profile and pitch, the belt length or centre distance, and the shaft sizes, and we will quote the drive as a set.
