Food Grade Conveyor Belts — DERCO / VOLTA

FDA and EU-approved conveyor belts for direct food contact — bakery, confectionery, meat, dairy, and beverage applications.

Also known as: Food contact conveyor belts, FDA conveyor belts, Hygienic belts, White food belts

Food-grade belts are made from materials approved for direct food contact under FDA and EU 1935/2004 rules, with surfaces that are non-toxic, odourless and easy to clean. We offer fabric-reinforced PU belts from DERCO and homogenous TPU belts from VOLTA, so the construction can be matched to the hygiene level of each step.

Fabric-reinforced PU belts are economical and stable for dry and semi-wet steps such as dough handling, cooling, inspection and packing. Homogenous belts with no exposed fabric suit wet, high-hygiene zones such as meat, poultry, fish and dairy, where belts are washed down frequently.

Blue and white colours give visual contrast so foreign bodies are easier to spot, and anti-microbial covers are available where required. Tell us the product, temperature and cleaning regime and we will recommend the right grade.

Blue contrasts with almost all foods, making foreign bodies and belt fragments easier to see during inspection.

Fabric-reinforced PU suits dry and lightly wet steps; homogenous belts are preferred in wet, high-hygiene areas because there is no fabric to absorb liquids.
